It’s been said many times that the best times to start something are:
- Yesterday,
- 10 years ago, and
- Today
I could have easily supplanted the above quote with "Do you remember who you were before they told you who to be?" Slightly more optimistically though, there is so much we can learn from children; from uninhibited curiosity to playfulness, movement to comradery. Most importantly, they don’t watch or care about the “news.”
Never before has the world been more divisively divided. So called progressives have developed a fetish for virtuous language and other woke signaling while “conservatives” continue to conserve only their greed. I’ll leave the pandemic and last election out of this, though there are certainly abundant examples over the last two years.
What I want to illustrate is that there is something we can do in the face of political propaganda, oppressive governments, and a de-huanizing metaverse. We can behave like children. We can live in protest of everything we’re being told is unquestionable. We can start building a better tomorrow today by:
- Loving each other,
- Playing in the sun,
- Lifting weights,
- Laughing,
- Eating meat, and
- Always keep learning.
Stay wild!
