Intention:

As I’ve mentioned before, there’s a fine line between “cultivation” and “development.” Here, the “3 to 30 by 3s” structure remains the same. Adding movements (4 in this session) would constitute “building” or “developing.” While changing which movements are selected (e.g. swapping step-ups for burpees) indulges curiosity and hopefully “cultivates” confidence, or at least comprehension.

Warm Up:

Bike x 10 min (Zone 2 / 60-min pace)

Work:

3-30, by 3s:

  • Bike Calories
  • Lunges
  • Run x 10m
  • Step Up (20”)

Results:
