Intention:

I always like to start the year where we start the fight, standing. For the last several years I’ve made it a point to revisit wrestling, both in my own training and in the classes I teach. One important note is that wrestling is hard, it’s particularly harder to learn as an adult. So, “constraints based training” or “mini-games” are quite useful.

Work:

4 x 5 minute moderate sparring rounds / hour
