Intention:

This year I’m wanting to focus on more, not just better or harder jiu jitsu. To the point, that’s requiring a lot of focus. Long training sessions can get “grindy” and feel like you did a lot of work, but often end up going far past the point of diminishing returns. Throughout several open mat sessions this year, I’ve capped them at 60 minutes (ish) and focused on a one-round-on-one-round-off cadence to process, analyze, and adapt.

6 x 5 minute hard sparring rounds / hour
