Intention:
Today we’re more or less sticking to the game plan. I followed Ollin’s structure, but when asking how hard or how fast, I answered with: so that I can still train tomorrow.
In that case, “development” is likely not the answer. So, what I’m cultivating here is my ability to disregard output metrics and monitor or stay within a certain heart rate zone.
For the working set that was < 150 bpm (or Zone 2), and for the cool down it was < 130 bpm (or Zone 1). I’ve been lazy and haven’t been wearing my Morpheus HRM, so I’ve had to rely on my Garmin watch, which doesn’t always stick to my wrist.
This was the case tonight, but that kind of highlights the point that I want to develop my internal awareness rather than rely on the external devices.
Warm Up:
5-4-3-2-1 each of:
- Hip CARs / side
- Spine CARs
Work:
15-30-45 each of (not for time):
- Bike Calories
- Burpees
Then,
- Incline walk x 5 min
