Overview:

  • Quarterly Goal: Compete at ADCC Open Atlanta
  • Monthly Focus: Wrestling to Leg Entanglements
  • Weekly Objective: Leg Pins and Attack Transitions

Intention:

Today was a creative drill day. I specifically wanted to work on some flow / transition sequences as well as my heelhook grips.

Work:

1:30:00 total, with at least:

  • Two sets of drilling heelhook grips.

    • Which lead to a good technical discussion about breaking mechanics on specific entanglements.
  • Two sets of knee escape flow (one attacking and one defending).

  • Several rounds helping my training partners drill and explore what they wanted to work on as well.
