Overview:
- Quarterly Goal: Compete at ADCC Open Atlanta
- Monthly Focus: Wrestling to Leg Entanglements
- Weekly Objective: Leg Pins and Attack Transitions
Intention:
Usually my mobility sessions focus on active recovery. That was the case here, but the tissues were being stressed a little more than usual, though moment (as a limiting factor) was still the focus (compared to other energy systems).
I also played with (which is to say cultivated) different angles to work the EQIs, trying to hit major joint groups / movement patterns.
Warm Up:
Teaching back-to-back private lessons:
- First: handfighting for wrestling and ADCC
- Second: outside heelhook breaking mechanics
