  • Mat Hours: 1.5
  • What worked well: Getting back to shoot wrestling roots worked well for the most part.
  • What didn’t work well: Simon did a good job off-balancing me from his guard, I did a good job fending off attacks for a while, but eventually I over-committed to the body wrap defense of his leg attacks and he ended up belly-down on top of my legs (reversed full guard) and secured a toe hold.
  • Plan for next time: Continue developing wrestling transitions into leg attacks.
