Review:

  • Difficulty (1-10): 5
  • Performance (1-10): 7
  • Mat Hours: 1
  • What worked well:
    • Trying to use all my tools and multiple points of attack, as noted in previous sessions, was a good idea to off-balance my opponent.
    • Breaking mechanics feel very sharp.
    • Weight is holding on point (without detriment from creatine or sodium).
  • What didn’t work well:
    • The weather flip flopping gave me some sinus issues that seem to be clearing up the next day, but I’ll be on some allergy medication and Airborne just to be sure it clears by the weekend.
  • Plan for next time:
    • Try to not watch jiu jitsu videos (focus on gameplan, don’t add new techniques).
    • Focus on breathing, stress reduction, and getting good sleep this week.
