- What worked well:
- In a rare change of pace, I put a gi back on.
- It was nice, and productive, to revisit “basic” techniques while applying “advanced” concepts and principles.
- What didn’t work well:
- The soreness from yesterday’s lift, nagging sinus mucus, and the weekend’s competition were adding up.
- Plan for next time:
- I need to stay disciplined this week and keep training volume and intensity low. I still want to remain active every day, this really needs to be a week where I get ahead on recovery.
- I also need to plan my next objective or training goal, which is a good use of the (physical) downtime.
