  • What worked well:
    • I skipped sparring so that I can get a proper de-load week.
  • What didn’t work well:
    • At some points I did get a little reckless, but I was also trying to take it easy and give other players a chance and time / space to work. Post-competition I don’t need to be in “smash mode.”
  • Plan for next time:
    • Continue training as usual, but emphasize decreased volume and intensity.
    • Plan next training block / goal.
