- What worked well:
- I skipped sparring so that I can get a proper de-load week.
- What didn’t work well:
- At some points I did get a little reckless, but I was also trying to take it easy and give other players a chance and time / space to work. Post-competition I don’t need to be in “smash mode.”
- Plan for next time:
- Continue training as usual, but emphasize decreased volume and intensity.
- Plan next training block / goal.
