- What worked well:
- We had an odd number of students, so I got to work in. Even thought it was against much less skilled opponents, it was a good chance to start from the bottom and emphasize quality and execution rather than “winning.”
- What didn’t work well:
- This was one area I needed to work on after ADCC. Most of the techniques are pretty simple and straightforward, but they’re easy to rush and skip steps which results in them not working or even being countered.
- Plan for next time:
- Continue to work on these techniques at Saturday’s open mat.
